Those things linking...

A recent discovery has supposedly determined that there is an intrinsic link of color to aroma.
The discovery was found to have consistency with flowers in the sense of non psychosomatic effects, however there are many studies linking the perception of taste of certain foods/liquids with the color of dishware.

A strange coincidence? Hardly. In one case you have the potency of a chemical being linked to it's pigmentation and in another case you have the perception of these chemicals being linked to the perception of pigmentation.
These two things are wildly different even though they lead one to question the nature of the brain and natural elements. Which I'm sure some evolutionists will try to proclaim, in some fancy manner, that the brain developed a safety mechanism to discern certain elements as harmful simply through pigmentation.

I have my own idea, but I don't think I'll be able to articulate it well enough for any layman. Instead, I'll just ramble on about what I think; which is what this blog is good for anyways!

This 'link' is relative to how shape determines sound or density affects weight.
Physics, the unchanging attribute of forces that determine how everything in the Universe operates upon predictable principles, is this interlocking weave that brings simple elements like hydrogen into something as complex as a star. Which from there gives rise to something more complex like other elements, which gives rise to planets, which give rise to ecosystems, which give rise to complex organisms, which give rise to intelligence, which give rise to sooooooo much more.. And on and on and on we go...
Yet at every level there is a host of factors determining the rendered system. In fact, as we've come to know it in the modern times, there are a host of systems from the Quantum level all the way to the Super-Macro level that must all be coordinated in a perfectly harmonized orchestra of processes.

I usually don't concern myself with how things work in a purely scholarly way. Usually I look deeper into it to become acquainted with the facts so that I can understand the totality of some system in a purely intuitive manner. For example: the moment you bring in mathematics to explain complexities, I will look at you with disgust and tell you to stop torturing my mind. I do not find math to be 'wondrous' or 'beautiful' in any way. I know that it determines so much, but my imagination doesn't center around numbers and the possibilities that they help explain within the physical universe. Quite frankly... SHUT UP WITH YOUR NUMBERS!!
However, for the sake of continuity of knowledge and the scholarly approach, I tolerate the existence of the necessity for mathematics.

Ok.. I totally went on a rant because of my bitterness about numbers.. However, my point was supposed to be that mathematics easily display a simple quality to the universe without expressing some outlandish number that impresses scientists.
All you need is 3.
It's the magic number when expressing the mysterious quality that the Universe is endowed with.
Since I don't like using my intuition and math together, even though I can, I'll put it in a way that explains my point.
1 is something. 2 is divided. 3 is a group.
For those who aren't highly intuitive, the explanation is relevant to how things exist beyond just simply existing by virtue of not being non-existent. That is not a convoluted statement.
What I am getting at is explainable on the atomic level.
Essentially, all matter is defined by the quality of 3. Or if you must, a frequency that has three variances.
I can't speak for the forces of physics in the same way, but that is simply a medium for things that exist in the universe; they have no value by themselves.

Positive, Negative, Neutral. Or when it comes to atomic science, Protons, Electrons, and Neutrons.
By this simple formula, complexities arise on a grand scale. from something relatively simple. In fact, conventional physics aren't enough to explain quanta (those subatomic particles that make up an atom). However, I'm not going to get into Quantum mechanics because it doesn't explain my point.

It's this interconnected quality that I am trying to make a point to. Because the Universe seems to express the quality or even the virtue of interconnected things. Which is one reason why I'm never surprised, though I may be amazed, by the linking of certain qualities to other qualities that are seemingly unrelated.
This expression of seemingly non-connection is all over the Universe. However, the better we understand how things really work, then we seem to realize that everything is interconnected. Through this understanding, we humans can give rise to things that are beautiful to the senses. Then again.. We humans are a display of that very quality of manipulating the elements of the universe in harmony with physics to create something more as profound as humanity.

Wow.. All that to express such a simple thought.
This truly was a random spurt of insanity.

If it's New, it's not True. If it's True, it's not New.

Where did this silly idea come from that any of us are original in our thought or are somehow unique because we got some body mods and listen to trendy music? Why is it that there is such a longing to be acceptable to a genre of meme based cliques all the while shrugging off the intellectual presence of those seeking to better understand the Universe?
Quite frankly... I don't see how any of the former is not absolutely boring and just a trite excuse to hide away how lame an individual really is. Yet, I am not against people having their hobbies or enjoying things that are as common as the Human hand.

I write and I draw things that I don't feel are completely original. There's some sort of basis that is like what we see every day, even if I have a way of thinking that is so far out of the box that it's hard to attribute it to a copy of something. This is true for so many other things that I have been into in my life, the worse of non-originality is my spiritual pursuit. Ironically it isn't a matter of being original, it is a matter of being unoriginal so that I can discern Truth in the most absolute degree possible. Science has a beautiful way of continuously unfolding Human sophistication in increasingly larger amounts all while not allowing any Human to say they did anything other than discover what's always been in front of us.

This concept gets deeper when it comes to pursuing Truth...
I am quick to disagree with concepts that are only new in thought while agree with concepts that have always been in the back of people's mind, just without a way of being articulated until revelation/discovery comes about. Especially the concept of the Divine.
No matter how you dissect it, Humankind has always been curious about the supernatural. Whether it is what we perceive to be miraculous, the question of the origin of the Universe, or our own personal discontent with the structure of this broken world. All of which has the same implication regardless of your worldview, it's just that each individual must decide how they will assimilate truth into their life.

I get really bent out of shape when anyone tries to convince me that Technology will reveal to us that we humans are not having an extremely unique experience or that sooner or later we will transcend the natural limitations of reality and be like gods in a very extreme sense of what is godly.
The impasse I face intellectually is that we haven't done anything to transcend the boundaries of the Universe, all we've done is to create our own perception of what the Universe is, without being able to duplicate the one we're in; the same one that provides the medium to achieve these feats of sophistication yet still keeps us within physical borders regardless of how we humans exist consciously.
For all it is worth, why can't I say that I transcend the Universe every night? After all, I have wild dreams that seem to border the line of insanity and prophetic. Sometimes my dreams are just outright unreal in correlation to reality whereas other times it just seems surreal.

People want to take credit for their ideas or their implementation of other people's ideas.
Girls want to look pretty, be desired, and be envied (well not all of them, but there is a surprising majority who think that is the way their life should be).
Boys want to be cool, strong, respected, and successful in whatever it is they do; even if it is just personal victory in a game (again, not all of them but the majority think that is the way it is meant to be).
And if things don't go that way.. There's something wrong with the individual. Regardless of handicap, weakness of talent or circumstances of life. Which is very similar to the illusion that guides people to believe they have someone specially designed for them because of personality traits.
In my opinion, you may as well take the hand of fate and spit in the face of maturity; because nothing really matters except for genetic disposition and what you think you're entitled to.
What ever happened to Nobility and seeking to honor the source of our strength/sustenance?

For those who are weak of mind, I am more inclined to give credit to divine power than I am to people. Yet, I give thanks to people just as much as blame. I didn't get on this planet by choice, I didn't chose the timeline I would live, and I certainly am responsible for the choices I make.
Here comes the impasse again...
Society spoon-feeds us the idea that if we believe we can be something then we can obtain it. This is prevalent in all walks of life, not just Hollywood. There are plenty of people who believe the only way they are going to get to where they want is if the step on the heads of everyone instead of anything else. And why shouldn't they, there are glorifications of this kind of thinking all over the place. The sad part of reality is that it's not far fetched at all. So you're practically wrong for thinking you're entitled just as much as you're wrong for doing whatever it takes to get where you want to be.
Granted, there are times when either seems appropriate and doesn't yield the result of destroying the lives of other people.. Just as it's not a blind reliance on what is handed to you as a gift, but that's why I feel there's nothing but vanity unless we get back to the original point of life.
Everything is a gift, nothing is new, and everyone has the obligation of realizing that their true value was established long before their own existence.

So why not adopt a simple process of thought that stands the test of time...
If you just found a new discovery that hasn't found it's roots in things going back to antiquity, then be highly skeptical of all of it. More than likely it's just some chump trying to make money off of your gullible attitude to life itself. Instead, seek to revitalize what the human purpose should have always been, stop trying to re-event the wheel and call it a breakthrough that should have a copyright.

That Smile Just Became Whiter

Trying to tell me something?

What is it called when someone realizes that their subconscious is doing more thinking than they are?
There has to be a word for that transition period, since there's no guarantee that the event will be short lived. No matter what we hold to be true to this world, true to the metaphysical, or true to science. In fact, there is nothing to say that subconscious influence is akin to environmental stimulus or individual emotions.

I get so frustrated with people who shrug off the effects of the subconscious, going so far as to deny the existence of it for themselves and thus anyone else. The main reason is that I am heavily affected by my subconscious in my dreams; dreams that I am affected by emotionally, which translates into my physiology.
Though I have no way of defining the mechanics of the subconscious, I can display what is happening through my creativity. It is not the same as my imagination, yet the two are interconnected so strongly that it would appear they are one in the same on the surface.

Why would anyone think that the information the mind soaks in, regardless of the origin, isn't filtered out in different ways? The conscious mind isn't able to process all the information it is subjected to, but it is foolishness to believe that the information isn't processed by something else. In fact, humans show a strong inclination to be affected by factors unknown to the conscious mind. Some fears are nothing more than paranoia, legitimate to the individual yet lacking substance that can be defined.
Phobias are an even better example of an illogical response to something. Which isn't illogical to the individual suffering the phobia, anyone suggesting otherwise is perceivable being audacious to personal feelings. Especially when it is translated to a matter of life or death in the conscious mind.

Fear is not the point here.
The point is a working machine that operates on multiple levels.
That machine is the brain.

To put it into perspective... The human mind is interconnected, if not physically afflicted, to five senses. These senses of the physical existence are extremely different from each other, but they come together like colors of the rainbow. The combined use of the senses is not questioned as logical or illogical, the information gathered from the five create a sense of reality.
Yet.. The five senses do not explain the physical universe completely, or the depth of understanding an individual has of their own environment. This is to insinuate that there is more to what is perceived, just as much as there's more to what is supposedly understood.
Just like there is awe in the presence of someone who understands plainly what the five senses discern.. There is awe in the presence of someone who displays the ability to sense beyond what the five senses are capable of. Which could be called a sixth sense and/or extra sensory perception.

It is incredibly ironic that someone who grasps the different layer of their own thoughts is disregarded.

To Relax...

I don't know why I don't like to relax.
There's always this strange feeling within me like something isn't right when I do not expend my energy for the day. Though it's even more strange when I do and yet I can't seem to calm down. Most people would assume I have some disorder, like ADHD... Yet that's so far from the truth, as I am not overwhelmed physiologically, I am overwhelmed mentally in the sense that I lose my ability to focus or be creative.
A critical process for me, I am a kinesthetic, intrapersonal intuitive. The feeling of something not being right means that something MUST not be right.

Today is a good example of the bizarre nature of my existence.
I read my horoscope, the one for Facebook that I usually use, and I noticed it point out that 11am would be my lucky time of day and that my mood is aggressive.
It spoke heavy about me tackling a career goal also; which is exactly how it ended up... Which I noticed only much after the fact. Something about my constant need to exercise, refuse eating and spend the day studying for a test let me know that I was indeed.... Following the pattern of the stars.

I'm not one for believing in superstition but I am certainly not blind to consistencies.

There is no reason that I have to feel like there is constantly something to do. Yet if I try to take the approach of just relaxing, I become so lethargic that I go crazy in my head about what I SHOULD be doing. As inevitability must have it, I end up doing something anyways.

For the last week now I have been spending more time concentrating on getting back into my routine. I haven't found much wrong with it other than my frequency of attention to it dropping. I also noticed that as I am trying to get back into the routines that the bigger thing making it hard for me is eating.
I don't understand how it is that I need so little and can go so far... But I figure that's the true nature of stamina. The kind where you aren't constantly fighting for spacial skills as if you are falling to sleep.
I could stay up for hours just creating ideas.... Maybe the proper way to put it is that I could live in my dream world forever? Except.... Not sleeping.

So let us draw a conclusion from this that isn't centered around myself.

My conclusion about relaxing in general is that it's like boredom. We humans are just not made to handle boredom well... We end up becoming unhealthy because of being idle. It's a testament to the true nature of perpetual motion within the human structure. Each system is somehow interconnected and each one has an intrinsically complicated role in driving all total functions. Though the most impressive one is creativity in my own opinion.
Whatever is the best time of day seems like the point you shouldn't put your effort into. You should let that be your moment of just... Flowing with the current of your energy. But to fight the lethargic idleness which handicaps human genius, we should try to keep busy when we want to relax.
I don't mean to push ourselves beyond limits... I simply mean to be reasonable about resting and utilizing natural energy.

Alone

This is about the times you are all alone in trying to figure out something,

I'm not talking about the times that you are hurting people or for that matter lack a good explanation to why you keep repeating the same question and give yourself the same answer.

What I'm talking about is when you are faced with a paradox or some kind of crux and for whatever logic it is that's evading you, the last thing you can answer is why does everyone flee from your influence as if your concern  is so misplaced, so unbearable and so unworthy of their input that you're left alone to contemplate.

As I think of my own personal walk in spirituality, I am saddened that so many people are willing to  talk about what I agree with. Very quick to repeat themselves as if I validated their sanity and sense of belonging instead of asking me to clarify my conclusions and even play the Devil's advocate to see where my opinion truly does come from.

Does it surprise anyone that they feel like the people around them are fake?

Generally I feel like the people around me are genuine or at least mean well. What I don't feel is that people relate to me like they think they do or would like to. Instead it's like a hit or miss game... And hardly ever to people really hit the mark. Which is why I try to hold on tight to the people that are close to me and am very generally disconnected about the people who really aren't.

Never does the logic that you should just try to do what you can for the people around you really make clear sense to me. I am usually wondering stuff about all sorts of things and it seems that talking about it is just trivial to people... Not a big enough issue. As if psychophysical numbing is the true culprit; not intelligence.

I'm not spitting a rant.. This is how anyone can feel about something they care about. Some people have it worse and some people use the chance to spit hot air instead of exhaling intellectual honesty.

So in essence, this is also about people who don't talk about anything but trite issues.

You think that's Fruit you're growing?

I do not live this life walking with a forgiving spirit to Evil as if I am capable of Loving everyone and everything in this world unconditionally. This idea that God has commanded me to Love beyond logical measure he has not displayed even himself. He has not given me the command to look away from iniquities against me, my family, my brothers or him with a blind eye. God has not commanded me to have a thoughtless mind and a numbed heart and to seek only to spread his message while sacrificing my spiritual growth with his followers. Though.. He has asked me to be stoic in my walk, to be intellectually mature, spiritually clean and to flee the constant barrage of the temptations of the flesh in their various forms.. Even declaring that anyone who truly Loves him will uphold his laws; summed up to the extent of Loving him with all my mind, heart and soul and to Love my neighbor as I do myself. I was never told not to judge my situation, my actions, the people around me or the actions I see. I was never told my neighbor is any and every man in this world regardless of his actions. The idea that Jesus was this example of a man who unconditionally accepted people without rebuke or open judgement of their actions is fallacious to scripture. Not only has God always been forgiving to those who seek it, he is also vengeful to those who scoff at it. WHAT IS HELL FOR? JUST A SCARE TACTIC FOR FANATICS TO USE TO EVANGELIZE A LIE? Why does the Apostle Paul say that those who follow the ways of the Spirit will not walk in the ways of the Flesh? Why does he ask what partnership does does the lawless have with righteousness, or what fellowship does light have with darkness, or what does a believer share in common with an unbeliever? Why would Paul quote Isaiah 52:11 if it has no relevance? Why would he say to his brothers that we Purify ourselves from everything that defiles the Flesh to accomplish holiness out of reverence for God? Why would Paul go so far as to say that his brothers and sisters should keep away from those who refuse to act on their faith in accordance to it's righteousness? Declaring that those who would not obey the message therein should not be closely associated with so that they may be ashamed--though not as an enemy but as a brother? The doctrine of unconditional forgiveness and the sanctifying of being victimized is a symbol of heresy; it is not righteous martyrdom, it is masochism. Tolerance is not what I am taught and yet it has become the meaning of life for the world. Without understanding the implications of tolerance I have allowed my life to become about worldly matters and not Heavenly ones. This has become blatantly obvious to me as I'm forced to accept everything as subjective and without absolute consequence. Looking back at the times I was rebuked for my actions and put to shame for them, I realize that the ones I did change were indeed the ones I saw in scripture that were described as immoral. I saw the evil in it during my practice and I sought repentance and reconciliation by mending my ways--not by declaring the scripture to be my enemy or to seek refuge with others that practiced the same ways as myself. Yet because of my tolerance, inevitably I allowed the influence of the wicked to come back into my circle and allowed myself to be dictated by doctrine that is suited for the insecurities of humans and not the righteousness of God. If I live a life of tolerance then I must accept the injustice of the world as God's choice and also his preference. If I live without judging then I must allow the wickedness of the enemies of God without question, rejection or rebuke of any kind. If I practice Forgiveness unconditionally then I must forgive even those who blaspheme God's word, murder my family, brothers and sisters and also say that it is wrong for anyone to be punished for their actions. This will not do... To Love my enemies is to not succumb to the wickedness of my own heart. It is not to allow their wickedness to become a normal and accepted part of my life. To Love my neighbor is to protect the good Samaritan; not to defend the actions of the thieves who tried to murder my brother, justify the priest who would avoid my brothers dying pleas or to not judge the Levite unwilling to stop to tend to my injured brother's wounds. To go forth into the world and spread my faith is not to jump into the Pit of Evil and dwell with God's enemies and to put them on a pedestal while chopping out the legs of my brothers who watch me being stabbed, trampled and ripped apart by the walking dead; all just to proclaim my righteousness to be like Christ because I walked into the lion's den with the intent to share my faith. Instead I should strive to commune with my brothers and sisters, share my faith with the lost and to rebuke the wickedness of the world with a declaration and separating myself from it's presence. My own parents may not have tried to teach me that it is God's will that I not surround myself with Evil but it was their experience and wisdom that taught me that the goal in life is not to seek out happiness by comforting my insecurities but rather to do good things with my life by first being wise of what kind of environment I allow to be around my being. It is clear to me now that unless I fight for my circle of influence to be pure, no amount of righteous appeal in my heart will make a difference for my relationship with the Holy Spirit; just as much as I will never show true reverence for the Father's laws or carry the Cross with Jesus. Many will tell me I'm wrong in my thinking... Which I may be very distorted beyond my own perception..... However, anyone who stays silent about it is a hypocrite and unwilling to walk in the Spirit with me so that we may all grow together. Furthermore, I will not be patronized for my thinking just because it inflames insecurities or is emotionally offensive. My life isn't regarded with enough concern by any person for me to believe that what I think matters enough beyond total and submissive agreement. This is my Rant. A growing Resolve.
